Kamil Chodoła is a Senior QA Engineer at Nethermind ensuring the quality and performance of the Nethermind Ethereum execution client. He holds Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from Lublin University of Technology, specializing in Software Development Technologies. He's ISTQB certified in Foundation Level and Advanced Test Automation Engineering. At Nethermind since 2022, Kamil co-authored EIP-7935, which proposes setting the default gas limit to 60M. He developed the execution payloads benchmarking framework that enables reproducible testing of client performance under real mainnet conditions. This framework has become essential for validating performance improvements and ensuring the client can handle increased gas limits safely. Before Nethermind, Kamil spent over three years at Predica Group (now SoftwareOne) in senior QA roles, including leading testing teams. He started his career at Comarch, where he developed expertise in test automation, ERP systems testing, and CI/CD integration.
