I.R.I.S: an update on ownership and infrastructure

Nethermind built and operated IRIS, an AI agent that reviewed smart contracts and delivered security reports, launched on X and the Virtuals Protocol and powered by our AuditAgent technology.

The undercoverIRIS X account (https://x.com/UndercoverIRIS) is now owned and operated by Byron (x.com/bbyron). Nethermind has disconnected the backend infrastructure that ran IRIS, including AuditAgent, from the account. IRIS no longer runs on or depends on Nethermind's technology in any form.

We built IRIS as an early exploration of what agentic security tooling could look like. We wish Byron well as he takes it in his own direction.
